Tip #1 - The Secret of Getting Articles Published

The "secret" to getting editorial coverage in the press is that it requires research. First, you must know the magazine and its readers; second, your message must speak the same "language" as the marketplace; and lastly, you need to make the proverbial pieces fit. And great photography.

Do NOT write materials with the hope that some unknown editor will publish the material. At MTI, we contact each editor BEFORE we put pen to paper to gauge that magazine's interest and buy-in; then and only then do we write the article. In this way, our "batting average" is nearly 100%.

TIP #2 - Disappointed in Your Ad Results?

An ad must do two things: 1) it must get someone's attention; and 2) it must evoke a response. If not, maybe you should take a fresh look at your ad (or let MTI help). The ad must draw the reader to it, so tell the reader what he or she wants to know; and to get a response (after all, isn't that what you want an ad to do - draw inquiries), solicit a "call to action" by offering an incentive.

But Wait.....There's More
